Course Outline
Description
In this course we will start with:
We will then cover:
Finally we will:
MetaboLights consists of two distinct layers: a repository, enabling the metabolomics community to share findings, data and protocols for any form of metabolomics study, and a reference layer of curated knowledge about metabolites (forthcoming).
The Reference Layer is still under development. Once finished this will be a comprehensive knowledge base, organised around a metabolite-centric view, and will include elements such as reference spectra of various types, biological reference data, protocols and cross-references to other resources. There will be comprehensive manually curated data, including:
Publication references and protocols will also be available. This will enable experimentalists to get a comprehensive Metabolomic view on known metabolites.
This session will usually be offered as one of a number of short introductions to EBI Services that can be booked separately.
